About

Two founders. One niche. The agency model, rebuilt around the tech we recruit for.

We're Nick and Elissa Savov. We started AgenTech Recruiting because the agentic AI market was moving faster than the agencies serving it — and because we thought the right team to fix that was a small one with deep technical and operational chops, not a larger one with neither.

Nick Savov

Co-founder

Nick spent the last decade as a senior software engineer, most recently building production LLM and agent systems. He runs the technical side of every search — the calibration, the screen, the rubric we evaluate candidates against.

If I wouldn't pass our screen, I shouldn't be running it. So I built it the way I'd want to be screened.

Co-founder

Elissa spent her career running operations at high-growth teams — the unglamorous, load-bearing work of making sure things actually ship. She owns the candidate experience, the client relationship, and the workflows that keep both honest.

A great recruiting agency is mostly an operations company. We just happen to specialize in engineers.

Why this niche

Why agentic AI, and only agentic AI.

We made the call early to specialize. The agentic AI engineering market is small enough that a generalist agency can't calibrate well, and big enough that a specialist agency has more than a year of work in front of it. The intersection is exactly where we wanted to be.

We're also building the agency the way the companies we serve should be building software. The intake conversation is a real agent. The shortlist process is instrumented. The follow-ups are drafted by a system and approved by us — never the other way around. When a hiring manager talks to AgenTech, they're seeing the kind of system they should be paying engineers to build.

And we keep it small on purpose. No account managers, no offshore sourcers, no quotas. The same person who scopes the role with you writes the shortlist, sends the intros, and follows up after start date. That's the only way the work stays high-trust.

What we won't do

The boundaries.

  • We won't recruit for adjacent roles — data scientists, ML researchers, generalist software engineers. There are great agencies for those. We're not one of them.
  • We won't take a search where the comp band is below market. We'll tell you why, and we'll tell you what would make it land.
  • We won't auto-send anything to a candidate or client. Agents draft; humans approve. Always.
  • We won't share your profile until we've talked and you've said yes. No background blasts.
